Aromatherapy Candles
荷塘月色蜡烛
Inspired by Zhu Ziqing's famous essay. Lotus, water lily, and cool green notes evoke a summer evening by the pond.
Wang Jun
Perfumer who translates classical Chinese poetry into candle scents.
This candle is named after Zhu Ziqing's beloved 1927 essay "Moonlight Over the Lotus Pond," which captures the tranquility of a summer evening stroll beside a lotus pond at Tsinghua University. The scent unfolds like the essay — opening with cool green notes, blooming into lotus and water lily, and settling into a peaceful musk base.
