Wang Jun

Wang Jun is a classically trained perfumer from Suzhou who draws inspiration from Tang Dynasty poetry. Each of his candles is named after a famous poem and captures its emotional essence through scent.

His "Moonlight Over the Lotus Pond" candle evokes the tranquility of a summer evening, while "Autumn Rain on Banana Leaves" captures the melancholy beauty of the season. Using traditional Chinese aromatic ingredients — agarwood, plum blossom, bamboo — he creates olfactory poems that bridge ancient and modern.

His studio in Suzhou's canal district is both workshop and gallery, where visitors experience his scents alongside the classical gardens that inspire them.
