Chen Mei

Chen Mei discovered her passion for aromatherapy during her studies in traditional Chinese medicine in Shanghai. What began as a fascination with the healing properties of essential oils evolved into an art form that bridges Eastern philosophy with modern wellness.

Her candles are hand-poured using 100% natural soy wax and blended with pure essential oils — osmanthus from Guilin, sandalwood from Hainan, jasmine from Yunnan. Each scent tells a story of a place, a season, a memory.

Working from her studio in Shanghai's French Concession, Chen Mei creates limited-edition collections inspired by the 24 solar terms of the Chinese calendar, bringing the rhythm of nature into modern urban life.
