Liu Wei

Liu Wei learned the art of herbal soap making from his grandmother in the misty mountains of Quzhou, Zhejiang. For over 20 years, he has been perfecting the ancient recipes that combine traditional Chinese medicine principles with natural soap-making techniques.

Each bar is handcrafted using locally sourced herbs — he shou wu, lingzhi mushroom, green tea, and wild chrysanthemum — harvested at their peak potency. Liu Wei believes that the connection between nature and wellbeing is expressed through the ritual of washing, transforming a daily routine into a moment of mindful self-care.

His workshop, nestled among bamboo forests, produces small batches that carry the essence of Chinese botanical wisdom to the world.
